Hands-on support for independent, local businesses

Your business took years to build.
Your website shouldn’t look like it took a weekend.

Whitfield & Oak handles your website, local search, and online reputation — plus the everyday workflows and AI tooling running quietly behind the scenes — so you can stay focused on your business, not on managing your tech.

No obligation. We’ll tell you plainly what’s working and what isn’t.

Most of your customers decide before they call. They check your website, your reviews, your hours, whether you show up in a search — all before they ever walk through your door. If that first impression is thin, out of date, or missing entirely, it doesn’t matter how good the business behind it is.

How we help

Five things, done properly

No bundles you don’t need. Each piece stands on its own, and works better together.

Website Foundations

A fast, clear website that says who you are and makes it easy to call, book, or visit — built once, built right.

Local Search & Maps

Your business shows up when someone nearby searches for what you do — Google Business Profile, local listings, and search visibility.

Reviews & Reputation

A steady, honest system for collecting reviews and responding to them, so your reputation online matches your reputation in the neighborhood.

Workflow & AI Integration

We find the repetitive parts of your day — scheduling, follow-ups, answering the same questions — and set up practical, agentic AI tooling to handle them, so it’s off your plate instead of one more thing to manage.

Ongoing Hand-Holding

A real person to call when something changes, monthly checks on your site and workflows, and no expectation that you’ll ever need to become the technical person in the room.

How we work

Four stages, in order

The same sequence every time — nothing launches before it’s actually ready.

Assess

We look at your current website, listings, and reviews the way a customer would, and tell you plainly what’s working and what isn’t.

Build

We design and build the foundation — website, listings, booking or contact flow — around how your customers actually reach you.

Launch

We publish, connect your domain, and confirm everything works on a phone, not just a laptop.

Maintain

We keep watch — broken links, outdated hours, new reviews, workflows that need a tune-up — and stay hands-on so none of it becomes your problem to solve.

Our promise

What you can hold us to

Plain answers, no jargon — and no expectation you’ll ever need to become the tech person yourself.

You own everything we build — the domain, the code, the content.

One fixed price before we start. No surprise invoices.

If it doesn’t work properly on a phone, it isn’t finished.

Who’s behind this

Built by the same team behind OpenSeal

Whitfield & Oak isn’t a template shop. Here’s the standard we hold our own work to — and the same AI expertise we bring when we help your business adopt practical, agentic AI in its own workflows.

The system

OpenSeal’s AI orchestrator hub engine reads and extracts data from real financial documents — bank statements, invoices, tax filings — in production, every day, for real accounts.

The model work

We trained the model behind it ourselves: distilling a 7-billion-parameter model down into a much smaller, faster one, purpose-built for this exact job. We did that on purpose — a smaller model runs entirely inside our own infrastructure, so nothing has to be sent out to a third-party model just to get an answer.

The standard

Every version is evaluated against real, held-out documents it has never seen — before it ever touches a live account. Nothing ships on a demo alone.

Starting from unstructured data

Before AI works, your data has to.

A lot of businesses are sitting on years of real, valuable information — invoices, records, customer history — that’s never been organized into anything a system can actually use. You don’t need to digitize everything overnight. You need a real starting point.

We start with what you actually have

Paper files, scattered spreadsheets, years of email threads. We assess what’s really there before proposing anything — not a generic checklist.

We structure it properly

The same document-structuring work behind our own production system (see Proof, above), applied to your business — turning unstructured records into something usable, not just uploaded somewhere.

Then, and only then, AI

AI built on a messy foundation gives messy, unreliable answers. We get the foundation right first, so what we build after actually works.

Businesses that get this foundation in place now are the ones still competitive in five years. The gap doesn’t stay the same size — it grows.

What we’d do

Data & privacy

Your data is yours. Full stop.

We handle real business data — yours and your customers’. Here’s exactly how we treat it.

Never used to train models

Nothing you share with us is ever used to train AI models — ours or anyone else’s. Not your data, not your customers’ data.

Never leaves your ecosystem

Your data stays inside the systems we build for you. We don’t pool it, resell it, or share it outside your own environment.

You keep ownership, always

At every point — during the engagement and after it ends — the data is yours. Not licensed to us, not held hostage in a platform you can’t leave.

EU-level protection standard

We handle data to the standard required under EU data protection law (GDPR), as a baseline — regardless of where your business is based.

Why the name

“A whitfield is worked land — cared for over time, not conjured overnight. Oak is what you plant when you intend to still be standing in fifty years. That’s the pace we build at: not the fastest possible website, but one built to actually hold up — technically, and for your reputation.”
